Spell systems, Weapon mechanics, and Jewel attributes have undergone comprehensive adjustments. Two novel Weapon categories introduced: the Longbow and the Whip.
Ancestral Weapon acquisition methods modified. “Rare” (blue) ancestral weapons exhibit reduced drop frequency from V Blood bosses but increased incidence from Level 57 Incursion Events in Mortium ruins. “Epic” (purple) tier weaponry exclusively drops from Level 80+ Incursion events in Mortium ruins (previously categorized as “legendary” items).
Novel legendary item tier introduced, also available in Mortium ruins with limited drop probability. These designated weapons possess unique modifications while maintaining equivalent level classification as epic weaponry.
V Blood progression no longer unlocks specific spells but rather grants spell points for particular schools and tiers, enabling expanded player customization during advancement.
Players can now access passive enhancements amplifying vampiric potency. Total of 18 passives available across 6 distinct spell schools. Players may unlock all passive abilities, with clan collective unlocking mirroring research desk mechanics.
All spell targeting visual indicators updated with fresh graphics including additional configurations for Gamepad integration.
Rare weapons now upgrade to Level 26 using Ancestral Forge, increasing rare item relevance until epic tier weapon acquisition.
Magic sources feature reduced attribute bonuses but incorporate on-hit effects instead, aligning with respective spell schools from Tier 6 onward.
Each armor sub-tier (Tier 4, Tier 6, Tier 8) now includes four distinct sets with individual statistics, set bonuses, and visual designs.
Players can now customize armor appearance. Replace equipped armor visuals with any accessible piece, and modify color schemes for individual items.
“Dracula’s Regalia” – Tier 9 end-game armor set introduced.
Advanced Combat Mechanics
Cooldown reduction mechanics reconfigured as “increased cooldown rate” for spells, weapons, and ultimate abilities. Cooldown rate accelerates refresh timing, e.g., 100% increased cooldown rate equates to 100% faster cooldown refresh – corresponding to 50% cooldown reduction.
Certain attributes now feature maximum thresholds:
- Weapon & Spell cooldown rate limited to 40% maximum
- Damage reduction limited to 25% maximum
General physical damage scaling on weapons reduced while spell damage scaling increased. Late-tier weapons provide diminished physical power, while magic sources provide enhanced power. Since level disparity primarily exists in endgame between weapons and magic sources, this adjustment narrows performance gaps, generally strengthening spells while slightly weakening physical attacks.
Players now receive 15-25% additional maximum health from armor while PvE units inflict 15-25% increased damage to decrease player-versus-player elimination timing. Health/damage increases more pronounced during endgame than early stages. Healing and Life Leech enhanced on spells and effects utilizing spell power for healing to maintain healing spell effectiveness.
Critical Note: General healing/leech capabilities haven’t received comprehensive buffs, despite potential perception from detailed spell modifications.
Legendary jewels featuring 4 spell modifications now obtainable from end-game bosses and Rift Incursion events.
Transform into arachnid form and subterraneously traverse to evade sunlight or ambush adversaries!
