Path of Building import code

Clear Speed: Lightning Fast Mapping

Bossing Performance: Requires Gear Investment

Cost Efficiency: Affordable Start with Strong Scaling

The initial equipment investment remains remarkably accessible, requiring only a Quill Rain bow, Thief’s Torment ring, and basic rare items. This foundational setup enables efficient Heist farming, providing an excellent method for accumulating PoE currency during the early league phase.

Withering Step

Withering Step eliminates any active Elusive effect before granting both Elusive and Phasing buffs. While this enhancement persists, any enemies approaching your vicinity become afflicted with Wither stacks. Activating any skill or losing the Elusive buff terminates this skill’s benefits. It shares cooldown mechanics with other teleportation abilities.

Withering Step delivers exceptional single-target damage amplification, demanding close-quarters positioning to accumulate maximum Wither stacks for optimal damage output.

Flame Dash

Flame Dash operates on a shared cooldown with Withering Step. However, the Raider ascendancy provides such substantial movement speed that supplementary mobility skills become largely unnecessary.

The initial Flame Dash activation occurs instantly, but subsequent rapid usage introduces casting delays. Consequently, you should avoid spamming this ability excessively.

Blood Rage

While Blood Rage remains optional, it represents a remarkably solid skill providing substantial attack speed bonuses. Additionally, it generates Frenzy Charges during clearing phases.

An alternate quality version of Blood Rage enables frenzy charge generation against boss enemies. However, this variant proves quite expensive initially, so don’t anticipate acquiring it during early league progression.

Toxic Rain

Toxic Rain serves as your primary damage skill, requiring focused investment in damage over time multipliers. Additionally, prioritize attack speed scaling to maximize the quantity of spore pods detonating simultaneously on targets.

Projectiles distribute randomly across the target area, with approximately four striking individual enemies simultaneously. Using Concentrated Effect support improves targeting consistency significantly. You can substitute Concentrated Effect with Efficacy support, which benefits this build by providing 15-24% increased skill effect duration rather than spell damage enhancements.

Flesh and Stone

Ensure you maintain Stone Stance activation consistently. This stance blinds adjacent enemies and provides damage reduction against attacks from distant foes while active.

Malevolence

Malevolence activates an aura that multiplies damage over time effects and extends skill effect duration for you and nearby allies.

Vitality

This configuration utilizes a level-one Vitality gem due to pairing with a Watcher’s Eye jewel providing life gain on hit while affected by Vitality. This combination proves extremely powerful but carries substantial cost early in the league, making Thief’s Torment a viable alternative initially.

This skill remains exceptionally potent but carries significant expense during early league phases, making Thief’s Torment a practical substitute.

Clarity

You should level Clarity sufficiently to maintain sustainable mana reserves throughout combat encounters.

Asenath’s Chant

You’ll eventually require an Asenath’s Chant helmet. This represents a moderately expensive PoE item during early progression. However, don’t become overly concerned about this requirement since you can continue utilizing a Ballista Totem configuration for Toxic Rain until transitioning to the Asenath’s Chant setup.

Once acquiring Asenath’s Chant, implement Greater Multiple Projectiles, Ball Lightning, and Slower Projectiles, enabling consistent Ball Lightning projectile impacts.

Despair

You also incorporate a Despair curse application. Remember that in PoE 3.15, triggered abilities now consume mana resources, though this becomes manageable with sufficient reduced mana cost modifiers on equipment.

Vaal Haste

Vaal Haste provides exceptional velocity enhancements, allowing you to achieve even greater movement speeds than your baseline performance.

You’ll also implement a Cast When Damage Taken setup with Immortal Call, Increased Duration, and Enfeeble supports. Note that Cast When Damage Taken also incurs mana expenditure under current game mechanics.

Leveling Up

• Prioritize acquiring essential skill gems immediately: Primary Links > Mobility > Auras > Utility enhancements. Consult the “Skills” section for specific gem acquisition priorities.

• Levels 1 through Mapping || Caustic Arrow/Toxic Rain Self Cast + Ballista Support

You should maintain this gameplay approach throughout the entire leveling process. Eventually, upon reaching higher tier maps, you’ll phase out the Ballista setup as it becomes less valuable compared to expanded aura configurations.

Pro Tips & Optimization Strategies

• Explosive Trap delivers excellent single-target damage until obtaining Toxic Rain capabilities.

• Utilize Smoke Mine extensively for accelerated act progression, and simplify gameplay by assigning Detonate Mine to left mouse button activation.

• Never underestimate the recent mana system changes. These adjustments significantly increase mana regeneration value. Maintain updated mana flasks consistently throughout your progression.

• The Toxic Rain Ballista configuration provides substantial damage output. Deploy maximum totems while maintaining Caustic Arrow’s debuff, then spam self-cast Toxic Rain. Your combined damage potential should prove quite impressive.

• The new Focused Ballista Support shows promise. However, comprehensive testing remains pending. You can experiment with incorporating it into your Toxic Rain Ballista setup.
